Patrick was born into a close-knit Irish-American family, the son of Harold Stanton (Retired Captain, CPD) and Mary Celeste Stanton. His upbringing instilled values of resilience, compassion, and loyalty. Though Patrick faced the sorrow of losing his parents, his brother Daniel Stanton, infant brother Michael T., and nephews Tommy Grady and Kevin Quinlan, he carried their memories forward with grace and strength. He was the beloved brother of Sheila (Larry) Marshall, Eileen (Bob) Quinn, Colleen (Jerry Casey, MD) Quinlan, Teresa (Emmett, DDS) Grady, Peggy (Michael) Schmit, Celeste (Kevin) Alcock, Noreen (Chris) Janson, Michael (Lisa) Stanton, and sister-in-law Sheila Stanton. He was a cherished brother-in-law to Kathleen Gallagher and Maureen (Mike) Feeley.
